Our Value

BID DESIGNS was established in 2006 by our founder and owner, Brent Paris, who spent his career supporting government RFP responses. When establishing BID DESIGNS, the objective of our services was to provide government contractors with the level of support needed to ensure 100% compliance at all times, and this remains our objective now. These services include RFP analysis, compliance matrix development, compliance reviews, and compliance-based desktop publishing.

As a company, we do not simply provide our clients with independent consultants (as the vast majority of proposal companies do). Instead, our full-time, integrated team of dedicated professionals works within highly advanced and standardized processes, requirements, and checklist-driven quality standards to provide our clients with constant proposal support, whenever new solicitations are released. All of our proposal support documents and actions go through rigorous internal quality control evaluations prior to client delivery.

Our Mission:

Addressing Common Needs

Our clients are not just buying proposal support. They are investing in a ready-to-go, ongoing solution.

Unpredictable Workload

Navigating business development’s fluctuating demands, coupled with diverse skill prerequisites, presents challenges in maintaining optimal staffing levels.

Ensuring Continuity

Determining the requisite level of internal proposal expertise poses a continual challenge for organizations.

Expertise When Needed

The availability of specialized expertise precisely when required is crucial yet often elusive for government contractors.

Budget Management

Balancing budgets for both internal staff and outsourced support while maximizing value and return on investment remains a perpetual concern.

Desire for Flexibility

Relying on support solutions necessitates providers who understand your unique needs and offer flexible arrangements adaptable to start, stop, and wait scenarios.

Pressure of Time Constraints

The relentless pursuit of new opportunities amid time constraints demands efficient processes to produce polished proposals consistently.

BID DESIGNS Operates By Adding Value to Your Business

Value 1
Deliverables

BID DESIGNS provides tangible deliverables for every proposal, specified with a detailed scope of work. This is unlike any other proposal consultant or firm, which typically provides people with an hourly rate, leading many, if not most, buyers to wonder what they paid for and if they paid too much.

Value 2
Process Contribution

The BID DESIGNS model and processes have been honed, matured, documented, and checklist-driven, with multiple layers of quality control, for the last 17 years. These processes are designed 100% for our clients. In essence, in addition to proposal support, our clients are buying an out-of-the-box solution, saving them valuable time and money to develop internal processes.

Value 3
Win Contribution

BID DESIGNS takes the burden of compliance and publishing so that your internal resources can focus where they should – on the win.

Value 4
Multiple Labor Categories/Skills

To hire, train, manage, and implement processes of the right mix of skills, experience, and process contribution to bid and win effectively, it would cost on average $300,000-$500,000 per year for 2-3 proposals per year, and BID DESIGNS provides that trained team for a fraction of that cost.

Value 5
Expertise Contribution Categories/Skills

Because we do not charge hourly, as part of our packages, our clients have the benefit of access to our experts as needed for specific questions and consultation on their proposal compliance, including RFP problems/discrepancies, compliance clarifications, and best practices.
