Compliance with all proposal requirements is a basic, but critical, element of the proposal development process. Some Government RFPs are well constructed and clear, and others are less so, but any contractor who wants to win a Government contract must be compliant first, regardless of the complexities or even inconsistencies of the RFP. As part of BID Designs’ ongoing efforts to ensure clients have all the support they need to develop and deliver proposals that are compliant with the full range of requirements in any RFP, BID Designs has hired a dedicated Compliance Manager whose sole focus is proposal compliance.
“In the Federal Marketplace, particularly the DoD and NASA, the Government is focusing more heavily on compliance as a tool to eliminate competitors than ever before,” Said Brent Paris, found and President/CEO of BID Designs, “So it is critical for any contractor pursuing work in these areas to clear that initial hurdle to be considered for award. To support our clients and ensure they have the highest win probability possible, we decided to bring in someone to focus exclusively on compliance. We are pleased to have identified and brought on board Sandy Albee, someone with all the diverse qualifications and experience necessary to enhance our compliance service to our clients.”
In her role as Compliance Manager at Bid Designs, Sandy Allbee delivers more than 16 years of experience in Proposal, Contract, and Program Management. She started her career in Silicon Valley, where she managed executive development programs at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Since moving to Huntsville in 2005, she has focused her career in Government acquisition and contracting. She has gained a unique perspective having supported large and small businesses in addition to serving as a civilian at the Army Contracting Command – Redstone. During her tenure at ACC, she supported many Government agencies and programs in the solicitation, review, and award of contract actions. Ms. Allbee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. She is DAWIA-certified in Contracting and Program Management, and is an honor graduate of the National Contract Management Association’s National Leadership Development program.
